| Here at Erie’s Edge we primarily start fishing for walleye’s the 3rd week of March and continue until the end of May. We are based out of Toledo, Ohio so you can choose whether to port out of the state of Michigan or Ohio and your trip can be up to 3 persons.
We primarily target the walleye during their spring migration to the spawning rivers and reefs. We do not practice any trolling techniques. Most of our fishing will be done vertical jigging and or casting various lures.
We supply all the tackle, fishing rods, reels and any live bait needed for the day. In the spring on Lake Erie you must prepare yourself for cold and in climate weather. My suggestions are to bring warm clothes and rain gear. (See Trip planning page for more information). |
